Urotsukidoji (Legend of the Overfiend) is a most notrious anime film. Full of rape scenes and nudity and erm penis shaped tenticles.

If you take any "blue" movie, you'll notice they do attempt a plot, albeit a thin and brittle one. But if you look past the porn in Urot, you'll see it actually has a deep and clever plot.
An ancient legend tells that there is 3 levels of excistence, the human world - where we live, the demon world (hell basically) and the man-beasts (half animal, half human creatures with special powers).

It also states that once every 3000 years, a human will be chosen and born into the world, gifted with the powers of the Chojin. The Chojin (or Overfiend) will unite the 3 worlds and a new world of purity and natural beauty will be left.
Modern day Japan, a boy named Tatsuo Nagumo has fallen in love with the "Hot girl" Akemi Ito. The two become deeply in love and little do they realise that they will play a huge part in Earths future.

It is almost time for the unification of the 3 realms, around this time, the 3 worlds over lap, allowing the demons and man-beasts to pass into the human world. The man-beast known as Amano Jaku passes over to find the chojin.

The demons also make it over and start to cause havoc, killing and maiming humans, not to mention rape which ever woman is unfortunate to be around.

Nagumo begins a transformation, into the destroyer god, to lay waste to the world in preparation for the true chojin to arrive, perhaps the baby inside Akemi's womb......

Urotsukidoji 2, I believe, happens at some point during the first film, as Japan isn't destroyed and Nagumo is a less powerful demon.

This film has been cut by the BBFC and that was just scraping it. Things have either been
directly cut or "fudged".

Despite all the filthyness, Urotsukidoji is classic anime, which outlandish plot, crazy demons and all kinds of violence and gore. I actually hadn't heard of this film before seeing it and was glad that my family were all out when I watched it !
It was made in the late 80's and early nineties yet the animation remains quite clear and crisp.

If this is your bag, watch it, if you get easily offended then definetly don't watch it, by the way, and I think it's obvious, this isn't for kids !
