Advantages: Very funny

Disadvantages: Not the most complicated

This film is really the pinnacle of feel good movies. The plot isn't great, the acting mediocre yet after having watched it, you feel completely satisfied and in a genuinely good mood. Yes it is incredibly cheesy and hugely predictable but I found that I still enjoyed watching the triumph of the underdog, a man that has lost his way (Ryan Reynolds).

The film follows the life of a student at college who has been there for seven years without graduating. He is basically scared of growing up. His father who is paying for his education decides enough is enough and stop funding him. The film follows his attempts to raise enough money to stay at college.

For what is a low budget movie the quality of the shots is very good and the jokes and puns while not entirely original are well executed and leave you with a smile on your face. The really great thing about this movie is that its not too intense. Due to the less than intricate plot, it is an easy viewing movie so is great to watch with friends as you can pretty much pick it up from anywhere in the film and understand what is going on, allowing you to socialize or do whatever you want to do.

Overall then as long as you don't have to high expectations then you will find this a very enjoyable film.
