This is possibly the best comedy I?ve seen all year?..

Okay, okay, so there was Austin Powers 3 the undisputed champion of the box office this year. But some times you need a little bit more than the ?swinging sixties meets James Bond? style action hero and some thing that?s not quite so complicated. I?ve you get what I?m babbling on about then you?ll love Van Wilder Party Liaison.

Background
Van Wilder isn?t your average American college student. No, no, no my friends in fact there is nothing further from the truth. Van does attend college and has done now for the past 6 years! Now as the term enters his 7th year his rich dad, in order to make cut backs, withdraws Van?s college tuition fees and tells him to move on.

Van is hurt, he loves college and all that it has given him. In order to stay he must himself raise the necessary funds. This is where the comedy starts. Already known by many to throw one hell of a cool party he goes into business with the aid of his best friend and his Indian personal assistant. Parties for nerds, jews and even the elderly Wilder is up for the challenge.

While all this is happening a young local reporter tries to publish a story on Wilder. This is labelled an impossible task, but the feisty young female doesn?t give up easily and soon has Van falling madly in love with her.

However the reporter?s boyfriend takes a bad disliking to Wilder and various hilarious stunts follow!

The rest is top secret as I don?t want to give the story away, believe me its worth a look.

Cast:
Van Wilder is played by Ryan Reynolds who delivers a stunningly funny performance. Fans of the other National Lampoon films will notice the similarities to Chevy Chase. He seems to have a great ability to deliver the classy one liners found in abundance.

The young reporter is played by Tara Reid. American pie fans will no who I?m talking about. Yes she?s blond and rather attractive! What,
even Van Wilder fell for her! Tara offers a good contrast to Reynolds and they seem to have an on screen chemistry.

Stunts:
There are a few hilarious stunts in this film including some huge, weight challenged bloke diving off a 20m high diving bored, always good for a laugh! It?s worth watching, just for that!

Music:
Van Wilder Party Liaison also provides us with a great soundtrack, its so good, I might actually buy it, and I NEVER buy soundtracks. Seriously the music does compliment the film, as with all good ?teen? comedies.

That?s just about all I can think of to praise this film?believe me when I say there is no bad parts to this film, it?s a must see. Why are you still here?
