Advantages: Super kungfoolery and music
Disadvantages: uh nothing but needs more character camera time for each one
OK I'll start from the beginning for you Versus newbies...
In Japan lies the 444th portal to the "other side". And it so happens that a bunch of Yakuza and escapees are there when the scary dude (Hideo Sakaki ;-) wants them there. Prisoner ksc2-303 (Tak Sakaguchi ;-) doesn't know why he is there but he soon finds out the He and the kidnapped girl (Chieko Misaka ;-) are to be slaughted like everyone else ;-) to open the portal. So the good guy wins and the Yakuza all die boo-whoo! But the fights kick butt. Speaking of butt, in the flash back he gets from an injury (I can't give anything away)He is back with the same girl with the same guy after him And Tak kills the girl so Sakaki can't win, (yet) and that just pisses the bad dude off and so basically Tak gets his Ass handed to him on a silver platter. In the flash back they are in the same exact forest but Tak is a Samarai and all the Yakuza a dressed cooly in Comono's (a must see). Tak wakes up after the flash back (the girl may have or may not have resserected him) and walks off looking for revenge and more trouble. But Sakaki wins......... NOT well he almost does but once again he is saved by the girl. And they live happily ever after untill 99 years in the future where it turns out Sakaki turns good and Tak is just so EVIL. Blah it was made so it could have a sequel-(Versus 2 announced for 2006) and they begin to fight again with the same Fighting swords in which they did in the past and so it cuts off to the credits with awesome music! sweet a must see!!!! And totally look this movie up for its cast and crew info!! Kazuhito Ohba-Yakuza with glasses- is so dreamy so look him and every else up on the internet!!!
