Advantages: Fun, Exciting
Disadvantages: Some parts are hard to hear
I was lucky enough to catch this film at a screening in Los Angeles and enjoyed it immensely. What I liked most was the way the film blends all the classic elements in a traditional vampire film, but remains unique in its approach. Rather than relying on blood and gore, it portrays Vlad the Impaler as more than a monster. We?re shown glimpses of his past and quickly empathize with his pain, even as we?re terrified by his brutality. The love stories woven into the film and the pace at which it?s told keep you emotionally invested and on the edge of your seat. The tone and feel of romance, aided by the beautiful backdrop of the Carpathian mountains, is undeniable and moving. The film carefully balances love and anguish while merging past and present worlds. Even though it?s set in modern day, the film shows how we as people face the same struggles throughout our history. Vlad is incredibly well thought out and acted, and should be enjoyable to a wide range of people. The nudity and violence in the film is done with taste and purpose and I?d recommend this film to anyone that wants a romantic saga about one of the world?s most notorious monsters. I believe the official site is www.vladthemovie.com Enjoy!

I'm sorry I couldn't give you the top rating, but I'm sure that once you've been here for a while you'll get a hang of the place!
Yummy87 39;s advice is really good. I would particularly recommend reading the 'Rewarded Reviews' - there's a link on the Community Page. These are meant to be the best reviews on the site, so should hopefully give you something to aim at!
If you're intending on writing in films, there is advice on how to write a good review at:

There are also other similar areas for Music, Computers etc...

A few tips to get you started on the site: Although there's no limit on the amount of reviews you can post it's better to post just three a day then you'll find you get more reads. If you read and rate around the site you'll soon find out what should be included in a review plus you'll get known to other members which will result in them reading things that you post.
It?s always a good idea to write your reviews as though you are writing for someone who has never heard of the product, that way you?ll cover everything. Also it?s best to write your review in Microsoft Word and run a spellchecker before posting onto the site.
You can ask any of the guides for help with any aspect of the site and a list of all the guides can be found here http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/c ommunity/_page/advice_gui des/. They will do everything they can to help with your query.
You may have noticed that there are no capital letters on reviews that you post on the site. However, there is a fix for this and full instructions can be found at http://www.chuckleweb.co. uk/fixit.php.
La stly you can sign up for your own guest book at http://www.crosswordcheat s.com/tooyoo/ where you can chat with other Dooyoo members.
Above all I hope you enjoy it here and have fun :O) Sara
