Advantages: Great drama, great story lines

Firstly, what a brilliant title! The excellent program is all about Boyds cold case team trying to solve murder cases that have never been solved. These cases could go back to 30-40 years or even longer.

Boyds (played by the brilliant Trevor Eve) working practice can be very ruthless and he'll break many rules to get to the truth. There is a good balance within the team though as there is a psychologist, two DI's and a forensic scientist. The psychologist, played by Sue Johnstone, is the one that keeps the team in control and adds that mature head and rational thinking to the case.

I think the BBC's drama series are by far the best programs that are produced across any network and this series is right up there with the best. It can be very dark but has good humour in it.

The last two series have been made up of 2 part programs. Sunday and Monday night at 9pm on BBC1.

If you like crime drama's or just tv drama series in general then you will enjoy this one very much.

Summary: Just an excellent tv program
