Advantages: It's funny, sweet, charming and just everything you'd expect in an animated film

Pixar has done it yet again - create an animated masterpiece. Following their huge succeses of "Toy Story," "Finding Nemo," "The Incredibles," and "Ratatouille," (my personal favourite out of the Pixar films) they brilliantly keep up the consistency in quality. It is quite amazing how every year or so, whenever Pixar releases something, it gets so much critical acclaim. How do they manage it? First of all, they start with an incredibly original, fresh idea. Their creativity was admired with their previous films and they do not fail to disappoint with a sweet little robot cleaning up Earth, going on an adventure out to space. The plot includes a clever satire of how technology might affect us in the long run and how the devastation of pollution could actually lead to the events in the film. There is also plenty of gags that relate to the Stanley Kubrick masterpiece "2001: A Space Odyssey" which, if you are a movie-buff, will pick up on right away. Secondly, they have stunning animation that turns this into a visually dazzling spectacle. Thirdly, the range of fantastic, humourous characters this film manages to include is nothing but impressive.

Summary: One of Pixar's best - just keep'em coming
