Advantages: cheap to buy, a film to watch over and over again

Disadvantages: Predictable film

I haven't wrote a review for a while because I couldn't think of anything to write about until I was browsing through the catergories when I noticed the films.
Well for the past 2 years I have been collecting videos and DVD's and now got just over 200 films, so for the next few days I am going to try and write reviews for some of my most favourite ones. I do like my girly films but I will write some of my actions films for you men.

The first I came across when I was looking through my collection was The Wedding Planner which I am now going to tell you about. Although this is a predictable fairytale, it is funny, romantic film to watch.

~~~~About the Film~~~~
Mary Fiore (Jennifer Lopez) is a highly successful Italian wedding planner whose passion and creative vision make her client's dreams come alive. But being a Wedding planner she has ignored working on her own fairytale ending. That is until she accidentally meets Dr. Steve Edison ( Matthew McConaughey) Phwoar. After getting her Gucci shoe court in the a gutter Steve comes to the rescue before a car nearly hits her.

After reading a article in the Yahoo magazine about a celebrity wedding she makes her move. She is relying on this wedding to make her a partner in her boss's business.

Witty, intelligent and gorgeous, he seems to have it all. Only to find out that steve is engaged to the celebrity that Mary is planning a wedding for, and the client wants to throw the biggest wedding she has ever had to do before.

With so much riding on this one account Mary tries to ignore her growing feelings. But the longer she spends with the happy couple the harder she finds it to keep to the golden rule, never fall in love with the groom!!!!

Mary's father wants her to marry her friend from when she was a child, Massimo. Mary's father tries and gets Massimo and Mary to fall in love being a italian boy himself. But Mary isn't interested. To try and make Steve jealous she fakes that she has fallen in love with Massimo.


~~~My Verdict~~~~

Well I adore Jennifer Lopez and have all of her films that she has produced so far. I think this is one of my favourites of hers along with Enough( which I will write about shortly).

My favourite bit in this film has to be the ending even though it is so predictable and you should be able to guess what happens. Yes that's right Mary and steve fall in love and Steve runs out at his wedding to marry Fran to go find Mary to tell her its her she wants.

I will warn you if you usually cry at films you will need a box of tissues next to you. If your wanting a chick-flick film then this is for you even though you guys can still watch it.
