When your job is to make weddings go without a hitch and you are on heading for the biggest event of your career. What happens when someone comes along that throws you completely off course
*+* CAST *+*
Some of the main cast include:
· Mary Fiore - Jennifer Lopez
· Steve Edison - Matthew McConaughey
· Fran Donolly - Bridgette Wilson-Sampras
· Massimo - Justin Chambers
· Penny - Judy Green
*+* PLOT OVERVIEW *+*
Mary is one of the best wedding planners around, because of this if she can nail the biggest wedding of her career a partnership in the company is hers for the taking. After getting the account for Fan Donolly's wedding she ends up in the path of a stray dumpster which is heading straight for her. Only the quick thinking of a passer by saves her, life and when she wakes up in the hospital and see the strangers face again a romantic night out is planned with her hero. After dancing under the stars and a very big "moment" Mary has an amazing night. Little does she know the hansom stranger is going to play a bigger part in her near future than she could ever have imagined, and by no means in the way she hopes.
Will Mary be able to pull off the wedding of her career and possibly her own along the way all while juggling an obsessed childhood friend and a father who is trying to create and arranged marriage for her?
*+* DVD EXTRAS *+*
The DVD has some extras these are:
· Deleted scenes
· The dancer and the Cowboy
· Original Theatrical Trailer
· Audio Options
I found the deleted scenes to be quite good, they furthered the story and were not as useless as some movies.
The dancer and the cowboy is an in depth look at two particular scenes in the movie one where Matthew is out of his depth and one with Jennifer not so sure there are small interviews with both main leads and this is quite an interesting addition.
The audio options include a director's commentary and audio description.
*+* MY OPINIONS *+*
This is one of those movies for me which I can stick in the DVD player and sit down with a mug of hot chocolate and watch time and time again (ok so not after each other). Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey have a good on screen chemistry as do Matthew and Bridgette Wilson-Sampras so the movie all gels together really well. The storyline is unique and the overall feel of the film is that of a happy and easy going, there is some humour and this makes it a little more light hearted. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a movie to cheer them up, it you liked Jennifer of Matthews work in Maid in Manhattan or How to loose a guy in 10 days you will love this.
Summary: a film with a great story you can watch over
