This is an adorable movie that follows the life of a hopeless romantic who sits on the sidelines of life instead of jumping in and experiencing life for what it has to offer. She is always helping other find their happy ending that she doesn't take the time to find her own happy ending. A lot of women can relate to this movie because people these days have forgotten to take chances and grab onto the wonders of life.
Jennifer Lopez plays Mary Fiore a prominent wedding planner who is very good a planning the lives of other people. She is extremely successful at her job, but that is the only part of her life that seems to be going write. Mary is very good at what she does and her clients have a lot of money to spend. Mary's luck seems to begin to change when she is rescued by a handsome doctor named Steve Edison, or Eddie, played by the handsome Matthew McConaughey, from a rogue dumpster barreling towards her while her heal is stuck in a pothole. After Steve rescues Mary, she invites him to a romantic movie in the park where they share a romantic evening dancing and laughing and almost kiss. Finally, it seems like something is finally going right in Mary's life, that is until she lands a huge account and meets the groom of this wedding. To Mary's great surprise the groom of this wedding is Eddie.
Mary is embarrassed and angry at this occurrence, but this account is too important to her career and her company so she is determined to be professional and treat this shady groom just like any of the other faceless grooms that she has dealt with in the past. The rest of the movie is spent with Mary's anger pointed at Eddie and her feelings deepening for him unintentionally.
This movie is cute and definitely a chick flick and I recommend it.
Summary: Entertaining movie
