The Wedding Planner - a romantic comedy starring Jennifer Lopez and Matthew Mc - whatever.
Jennifer plays a modern, working class gal who's job is to plan other people's weddings. She's the best at her job and everyone wants her!
Of course, she isn't married - she's too busy.
Matthew plays a doctor, engaged to be married.
And here's the best bit! Matthew saves Jennifers life when she gets her shoe stuck in a drain. Luv-struck Jennifer cannot concentrate at work, she has to meet a couple to plan their wedding but she's too busy thinking about hers! But then...
OH NO! It turns out she's supposed to be planning HIS wedding. The gorgeous doctor is engaged? He didn't tell her that!
Anyway, after a lot of cheesy predictable lines for the next couple hours, he finally marries her and they all live happily ever after. THE END!
I found myself playing a mental game of what line was going to come next. It was very slow and un-original. Nothing I hadn't seen before anyway.
Well, there were a few funny moments like the bit where the doctor knocks the dick off a stone statue. But apart from the scene where they are trying to glue it back on...
I'd say don't give up your day job Jen!
