I watched this film at home alone and, strangely, I found myself unable to decide at the time whether or not I was actually enjoying myself or not. Although it is, without doubt, one of the cheesiest and worst acted films I have ever seen, oddly I felt no desire to stop it and put something else on. Maybe there was a thought in the back of my mind that, surely, things must get better soon, or perhaps I was just paralysed by the sheer awfulness of it. Whatever, I saw it through to the bitter end. Now don't go getting excited, this is not a sequel to the Steven Spielberg blockbuster, although the story is pretty much the same. War Of The Worlds 2: The Next Wave is in fact a sequel to the little seen 2005 movie The War Of The Worlds, starring onetime A-Lister C. Thomas Howell.
