Disadvantages: TOO MANY MATCHES

WCW SOULED OUT 2000 was the latest pay per view offering from World Championship Wrestling.
The event had a number of matches, which I will provide, but not the results in case you choose to watch for yourself.

BILLY KIDMAN V DEAN MALENKO
This match was ridiculously short considering it featured two great wresltlers. Dissapointing opener.

VAMPIRO V DAVID FLAIR V CROWBAR
A decent triple threat match although the crowd was dead for this one. A bit sloppy at times but generally okay.

BIG VITO AND JOHHNY THE BULL V THE HARRIS BROTHERS
A solid tag team match with some hard hitting. The teams combined fairly well providing a solid match.

CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - OKLAHOMA V MADUSA
A good fast paced match with countless near falls and aerial maneouvres. The chemistry was good between both competitors.

HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP - BRIAN KNOBBS V FIT FINLAY V NORMAN SMILEY V MENG
Alot of hard hitting from all for men with many weapons used inventively. No technical wrestling, but entertaining.

BILLY KIDMAN V PERRY SATURN
Kidman's second match of the night and a better one, but only just. Some decent wrestling and a fast pace, but at times too sloppy.

BOOKER T V STEVIE RAY
A good match which started slowly and built pace as it went along. Some good technical wrestling mixed in with some physicality and a good finish.

TANK ABBOTT V JERRY FLYNN
A very physical match that was technically lacking. The crowd didn't appear to enjoy this encounter.

LAST MAN STANDING MATCH - BUFF BAGWELL V DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE
A really good bout with the winner having to keep their opponent down by the count of ten. Alot ofmoves used including many weapons. The match went around the arena and was back and forth throughout. Good match.

BILLY KIDMAN V THE WELL
Kidman's third match and his third match that was just average.

KEVIN NASH V TERRY FUNK
The winner of this match got to be commisioner of WCW. As this match featured two big men it meant it was brutal to watch, nonetheless the match told a good story and had a good ending.

WCW CHAMPIONSHIP - CHRIS BENOIT V SID VICIOUS
The WCW title had been vacated so this was a match to see who woud get it. A goodtechnical match when Benoit was incontrol with alot of technical wrestling. The match got very physical and built towards a terrific finish. Good main event.

Overall, this event contained too many matches that were meaningless. The wrestling was average and there was nothing special on the card.

Lasting just under three hours, with a 15 viewing certificate and avaliable from AMAZON at £11.99 this is one you can miss.

Summary: SOULED OUT LOSES SOUL.
