What A Carve Up (DVD)

Ernie, played by Kenneth Connor, is a nervous young Londoner whose job it is to read and check the grammar of new to-be-published, trashy novels. One late night, he is visited by the sinister, zombie-like Mr. Sloane, played by Donald Pleasance, who is seeing over the will of the recently deceased Mr. Gabriel Broughton, Ernie's uncle. It seems Gabriel has left his nephew something in his inheritance, so Ernie takes his housemate Sid, played by Sidney James, up to his late uncle's mansion on the moors of Yorkshire to hear the reading of the will.
