What's good for the Goose?
================
Watched this the other night and boy did I wish I had not bothered.
This was Norman Wisdoms last full length feature film, and to be honest I'm glad it was. Norman is in a boring dead end job as a lowly bank clerk with no prospects of promotion and his life is going nowhere.
One day he picks up two hitchhikers, the gorgeous Sally Geeson and lovely Sarah Atkinson. He gets drawn into their carefree life and this film falls into the category of the old British sex comedy.
He basically follows them around a bit like an old pervy uncle which made me cringe. He is not funny at all in this movie and the plot and the dialogue is awful.
I hated this film!
Mainly because I really enjoy Norman Wisdom (and of course Mr Grimsdale) when ever his films are on. But in this instance I wish he had never made this movie. Perhaps it was one last throw of the dice?
Fair enough it is a snap shot of the 60's and the psychedelic nightclub scenes are funny to watch. But that in no way makes up for a dreadful film.
