A man and a woman meet each other at uni. At the end of studies they leave on bad terms and both head off to New York to start of respective careers. At intervals of five they meet by chance. Relationship with other people change them. The last time they meet is when both are lonely. One night both end up having sex. This to both is not nice so they kind of drift away for few weeks until the true meaning of love dawns on both and they declare love which will outlive father time.

When Harry Met Sally are two main characters played by Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan who was a big star at the time this film was directed by Rob Reiner and written by Nora Ephron.

It became big success due to the story line and one famous sexual scene without sex while both are eating out. Sally makes noises like she is coming and everyone around are is surprised she does this to prove to Harry that woman can pretend to come.

Billy Crystal is a comedian and the part was written for him to be funny. Meg Ryan is a woman who needs a partner to survive. To answer the question that can a man and a woman be friends minus sexual activity? In my stupid head I have come up with the answer that it all depends on how deep the friendship is and for anyone who is under 30 it is not possible to be friends without sex.

Summary: Rom com film that defined a new way of thinking about relationships.
