Story Line: The story revolves around two friends Harry and Sally who share a long drive to New york as they leave college and immediately fall in hatred. But as time pass they keep bumping into each other and eventually become close friends. The movie is about how the emotions and relation between these two characters evolve as they jump from one relationship to another, but they decide to stay friends themselves forever.
Can a man and woman be friends forever!?. Well you got to see this movie to get the answer!
My View: A typical Meg Ryan film. I think she is in a way queen of romantic flicks and am sure many people will agree with me. A very sweet film and to a certain extent very predictable as well. But you can't help but fall in love with the characters. The writing and direction of play is excellent and the movie all the time keep a firm focus on their relationship without wandering off. One of the most popular film of Rob Reiner's (director of A few good men).
One of the memorable and now very famous scene of the movie is Sally's fake orgasm in a coffee shop, which is more a series of moans and screams than actual words.
Highly recommended film to see with your special one on Valentine's Day.
