Advantages: Amazing plot and scenes, Eastwood and Burton

Disadvantages: So many twists you'll get dizzy, Slightly Long

A classic second war film with Clint Eastwood and Richard Burton. The plot is completely over the top but, for a great film full of tat, it can't be beaten.
The plot: American general shot down and taken to the heart of german intelligence in Bavaria, must be saved before he gives up the plans for the second front. A team of experts is sent in, mainly british but with one extra a US ranger played by eastwood.
There are so many twists it can be hard to follow and at 2 and 1/2 hours is slightly long, but goes fast when being enjoyed.
With some excellent scenes, cable-car fights and explosions galore.
Highly recommended, watch and enjoy!
