Advantages: There really is something for everyone in every episode.

Disadvantages: Wordy narration by David Attenborough can sometime detract from the images.

Wild China, a six part documentary, presents some of China's most beautiful and fascinating landscapes and wildlife, as well as glimpses into the lives of people who live and work alongside these astonishing marvels of nature. China is so vast and diverse each episode never fails to surprise and entertain. You will witness such sights as fishermen who train cormorants to catch the fish for them, nomads in China's northern deserts racing horses and hunting with Golden eagles and the relationship between the environment and people and how they do and don't coexist. If, like me, you are interested in wildlife you will find each and every episode a delight. If you are more fascinated by the landscape or people you will love the whole production. Wild China is absolutely beautifully shot and is a delight to watch. It is moving and gripping and an education in little known aspects of a most fascinating land.
