Advantages: really cool atmosphere, very original

Well, being a Will Smith fan and having seen the (rather cool) music video, I was very eager for "Wild Wild West" to come out on video so that I might borrow it. I hadn`t heard much good of it but I wanted to form my own opinion after seeing it.
Well I was a bit disappointed but I think it`s not as bad as people usually say it is. Yes, the jokes are horny have a very strong sexual connotation (which is why I`d recommand it for teens or adults; kids might not get it. My sisters didn`t.) but I liked the atmosphere of the whole movie, a really weird mix of science-fiction and western (but a very untypical western. It`s no cowboy ranch here). It`s peculiar but it works. The plot is nothing original but the way it is told gives it a certain interest. I like the bad guy, Dr Arliss Loveless (Kevin Branagh), a legless madman who has an evil fascination for spiders and dreams of a disunited United States. He is rather freaky-looking, kind of looks like a human spider or something. Will Smith, Salma Hayek and Kevin Kline are also really good actors, and even though their roles are rather dumb they make the best of it. And the music video is awesome (in my opinion). I`d watch the movie just to see it.

Summary:
