Without a paddle is a comedy film and was released in 2004. It is rated 12 due to one strong use of language and drug references and is 94 minutes long.

My Opinion
I thought I was really going to like this film but I ended up extremely disappointed. The script was quite lame and was full of clichés and predictability.

For a comedy film, I didn't find this very amusing. Considering two of the main leads were Matthew Lillard and Seth Green, two of my favourite actors, this film failed to deliver on the laughs. The three friends have no experience in the wilderness at all and this is where it was supposed to get funny but it all seemed like something I'd seen before. The three main actors are the only good things about this film even though they were all let down by the script. I think they did the best they could with what they had to work with.

Seth Green finally plays someone different as Dan, the doctor who is either allergic or afraid of everything and wasn't the usual goofy guy that he normally plays. I quite liked the change but he still wasn't funny enough for me. If anything, he was the most boring out of the three.

The main theme throughout Without a paddle is one of male bonding and friendship but even that wasn't good enough to make this film any good. The trio manage to come out of all of the problems still friends and there aren't even any major fights to break up the niceness.

It seems that the writers copied a lot of the story from other films and didn't bring us anything original at all. It took 5 people to write this monstrosity so I'm left wondering why it was so bad.

There isn't even that much that I can say about this film as nothing was at all memorable. The only thing I can advise you to do, is to never watch this film as it would be a complete waste of your time.

Summary: Don't bother

I have seen this film, but can honestly say that I remember absolutely nothing about it! It was that boring. You are totally right to say that you can say nothing about it because nothing was memorable!
