Advantages: Shawn Michaels

Disadvantages: Most of the rest of it

Unfortunately Wrestlemania XI saw a return to lacklustre events for WWF. Following the phenomenal performance from Shawn Michaels in winning the Royal Rumble, despite being number one, he booked himself with former tag team partner Diesel for the World Title. The match wasn't too bad and was probably the best thing on the show, but this wasnt saying match.
Incredibly this wasn't the main event, but rather the WWF decided to put their money on a football player, Lawrence Taylor, who had never wrestled before, as he settled a feud started at the Royal Rumble with Bam Bam Bigelow. The match wasnt atrocious, but it was no way good enough to headline the biggest event of the year.
Elsewhere, The Undertaker was lumbered with King Kong Bundy in a terrible match, Owen Hart and Yokozuna defeated the Smoking Gunns in a borefest, and Bret Hart battled Bob Backlund in another snooze party.
This Wrestlemania is another one to avoid.

Summary: Leave well alone
