Advantages: The DVD is presented very nice, this DVD brings some classic moments you may have forgot about
Disadvantages: suffers from blurring of the old WWE logo, missing some other great moments, not a lot of matches
WWE Raw started in 1993 and in 2008 came it's 15th Anniversary this DVD takes you from 1993 and 2008 and shows you the best moments of Raw over the years the truth is it shows you moments from 1993 to 2007.
Disc 1 1993-1997
Disc one has the years of 1993-1997 it has the moment of William Shatner and Jerry Lawler the segment was King's Court from 1995 which is decent you also witness Shatner punch Jerry well he was playing a heel back then.
One segment I think is superb is Pillman's Got a Gun from 1995 this was the segment when Stone Cold breaks into Pillman's home. Stone Cold starts beating up these 2 men outside even closing the car door on the head of one of them it's quite funny. Once Stone Cold enters the house Brian Pillman is about to enter the house. The segment was quite controversial I read that USA network didn't like what happened I personally enjoyed the segment I thought it was funny.
Stone Cold Stuns the Boss - September 22, 1997 - This segment is I believe it's the very first time Stone Cold stuns Vince McMahon quite enjoyable it is a moment for Raw and this where the feud of McMahon and Stone Cold just breaks out.
Bret Screwed Bret - November 17, 1997 - This was the night after Survivor Series 1997 the night where Montreal screw job happened (I recommend checking it out on the Internet if you don't know anything about it, it's an interesting story) Vince McMahon talks about why he ended the match I mean Bret was leaving for WCW and that time Bret had the title and Vince ended the match without Bret losing and Vince makes Shawn champion. It's interesting just a bit hard to explain however you notice that the picture goes a bit bad on this segment as it was taken from an old VHS tape by the looks of it.
Disc 1 is good but I won't go into to much detail and spoil it for you I'll go into Disc 2.
Disc 2 - 1998-2002
"Tyson and Austin!"- January 19, 1998 - Mike Tyson and Stone Cold Steve Austin this is a confrontation this is a great segment which this would lead to Wrestlemania 14 with Tyson helping Austin to win the WWE Championship.
DX Special Report - February 2, 1998 - I think nearly everyone knows this segment where DX go over certain words that they can't say they are bleeped out though I believe when it was originally aired the bad words were kept in this is a funny segment.
DX Invades WCW - April 27, 1998 - This is a classic and this is one of the best moments in Raw history you got DX Triple H, X-Pac, Billy Gunn, Road Dogg, Chyna, all going to WCW in a tank. During this DX go around talking to fans and WCW are giving tickets for free next thing you see is DX trying to enter the arena with WCW closing the doors on them. I don't know about you but if you had DX in the arena it would have been good for WCW it would have been interesting and enjoyable.
McMahon's Cement Corvette - October 12, 1998 - This is just a great segment mostly it's funny to see Vince McMahon's reaction. Stone Cold drives a cement truck and pours it into McMahon's Corvette such as a waste on nice car but this makes a great segment.
Rock: This is Your Life - September 27, 1999 - The DVD tells you that this is the highest rated segment in Raw history and it deserves it. I am a big fan of The Rock because he was great at wrestling and he was funny. This segment is to celebrate The Rock's birthday which Mankind (Mick Foley) has set up for The Rock. The Rock gets to meet his cooking teacher, his coach and high school girlfriend all of them The Rock disses them and they leave with the crowd booing them. During the end of this segment has a clown which The Rock is not happy about and later disrespects the clown. The Rock finally tells Mankind his birthday is May 2nd. This segment is funny in my opinion it's one of my favorite moments on Raw.
Jericho not the new Champion - April 17, 2000 - This features Jericho vs Triple H for the WWE championship this match is good but this features a finish which is quite shocking.
Triple H Returns - January 7, 2002 - Triple H had an injury to his knee in 2001 and in 2002 he returned at Madison Square Garden where he tells fans that he will be in the Royal Rumble. Kurt Angle also appears in this segment saying he will be in the Royal Rumble Triple H later takes him out with the pedigree.
Disc 2 has loads of good features but now I'll talk about what disc 3 has to offer.
Disc 3 2003-2007
Kane Unmasks - June 23, 2003 - Everyone just wanted to see what did Kane look like and Kane removed the mask and later goes crazy by taking out Rob Van Dam.
Jericho is Fired - August 22, 2005 - This segment is one of the worst it's not the best of Raw Jericho getting fired was awful. I am a big fan of Jericho but to see him get removed from building was wrong he should have had a better send off (by the way I know he's back in WWE).
A Stone Cold Homecoming - October 3, 2005 - This was from WWE Raw's Homecoming as it came back to USA Network this is where Stone Cold gives Linda, Shane, Stephanie and Vince McMahon a stunner.
Edge / Lita - Live Sex Celebration - January 9, 2006 - I really enjoyed this segment mostly because I think Edge plays a great heel. Well in this segment it features a bed in the ring with Edge and Lita doing whatever. Ric Flair comes out saying something like he wants to join then Edge starts to beat him up then Cena comes down to spoil it and give the lovely Lita an F-U. I this segment was going great if it just wasn't for John Cena spoiling things as always.
DX Impersonates Shane and Mr. McMahon - June 26, 2006 - This is a classic moment I have seen this many times and I just have to laugh at Triple H doing Vince and Shawn Michaels doing the McMahon's it's comedy at it's best.
As for the rest of this DVD I have pretty much rushed through it as this features many parts of Raw mostly segments not a lot of matches.
Disc 4 is the bonus disc featuring the first episoide of Raw from 1993 and to be honest I didn't think much of it I prefer wrestling from 1997 until now. The show does feature interviews which have been added in.
The incard you get with the DVD features hornswoggle and Triple H but yet there not featured on the DVD clearly if it's not on the DVD then why put it on. Like this DVD says 2008 but yet it ends in 2007 showing no moments of 2008.
Todd Grisham hosts the DVD which I don't really like him doing it he's a bit boring it would have been better if Jerry "the King" Lawler or even Jim Ross did this as they have been the voice of Raw for years. This DVD is great but if anyone remembers The Best of Raw Vol 1 & 2 watch those for the best Raw moments of 1998-1999 it has some great moments thats you must see that this DVD has missed off it might be hard finding that DVD now though. However the DVD provides some useful facts which are interesting if you don't know about what want on. I recommend this DVD to any WWE DVD collector.
Summary: Good DVD but check out Best of Raw Vol 1 & 2 for better Raw moments
