Advantages: GREAT MEMORIES

Disadvantages: SOME CRINGEY MOMENTS

WWE BEST OF RAW is a three disc DVD of nearly ten hours of this long running wrestling show.

Raw has aired from 1993 and is still going strong today. It is a live wrestling show broadcast in America on a Monday night.
This DVD is full of many highlights from the show.

There are special features on the likes of Stone Cold Steve Austin and the Rock voted the two greatest Raw superstars. The highlight of the DVD is the attitude era where the programme was very controversial and had many explosive moments.

My particular favourite moments on the DVD are the antics of DX as they are very funny. I'm also keen on seeing old matches with the likes of Kane and Undertaker that show how great wrestling was.

There are some great memorable clips of when Shane McMahon brought WCW from under his Dad Vince plus a history of the Austin/McMahon feud that changed wrestling forever. There is a look at the celebrities who have been on the show including Mike Tyson's famous stint in the company. The battle with WCW NITRO is also covered though not covered in great detail.

As a bonus there is a disc of the first ever Raw broadcast in 1993 where Razor Ramon faced the 123 Kid. If there is a downside to the DVD then it is that there are more promos than matches, nonehteless these promos are good especially when they involve the Rock n' Sock. There are also moments to forget including Mae Young giving birth to a hand plus alot more cringey moments that are best left forgotten.

There is too much focus on John Cena as although hes the top star in the company now, he will never be over like Austin or the Rock were when wrestling was in it's peak.

Raw has had so many good moments in it's history that it's hard to fit them all on this DVD. However at £14.99 from AMAZON this will have wrestling fans entertained for hours.

Summary: RAW IS TOP SHOW
