Disadvantages: Cage match slightly dissapointing

WWE JUDGEMENT DAY 2008 was a pay per view full of solid matches.
I will give the matches, but not the results in case you choose to watch for yourself.

JOHN CENA V JBL
A decent match although I don't think these two men have ever gelled in the ring. Unusual to see Cena open a pay per view and he looked like he wasn't motivated for this match, still not bad though.

WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - THE MIZ AND MORRISON V CM PUNK AND KANE
Miz and Morrison are a really fun tag team who antagonise the crowd constantly. Punk and Kane are just a team put together so consequentl don't gel. A decent match nonetheless.

WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP - MELINA V MICKIE JAMES V BETH PHOENIX
One of the better women's matches you'll see. These are probably the only three women in the WWE who can actually wrestle. Some really unique moves with Phoenix very impressive. James and Melina shown great athleticism. Good match.

SHAWN MICHAELS V CHRIS JERICHO
These two had easily the match of the night. Jericho is superb playing a heel and the lead up to this match was fantastic. The match told a story starting slow and building to a fast paced finish. Great wrestling, submissions and aerial moves. Fantastic match.

JEFF HARDY V MVP
Another good match with Hardy showing some fantastic aerial moves as usual. MVP was solid and this was a match where both men did well.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - THE UNDERTAKER V EDGE
These two competitors were in the middle of a good rivalry. In previous matches they shown good chemistry in the ring and so too in this match. Undertaker is loved by the crowd and for his age, he is still brilliant. Edge's facials are always great at telling a story. Good match.

WWE CHAMPIONSHIP - (STEEL CAGE MATCH) TRIPLE H V RANDY ORTON
In a steel cage atch you can win by pinfall, submission, or escaping the cage. Triple H had recently won the title of Orton so this was the rematch. A decent match though there was no purpose it being in a cage. Good physicality and a solid main event.

The DVD extras include interviews with the participants after their matches. There are some really good video packages before the title matches as well.

From a wrestling viewpoint this was a good event with nearly all the matches ranging from good to very good. It's always hard to follow though when Michaels and Jericho wrestle as they're so good.

Lasting just under three hours and avaliable from AMAZON at 12.48 this is a good pay per view with good wrestling.

Summary: JUDGEMENT DAY has good matches.
