WWE No Mercy 2008 isn't a particularly good pay-per-view, and not one of the especially memorable offerings of 2008. Some of the matches featured decent wrestling, but there's nothing really outstanding here, and so many of the results are either cheap finishes or just not satisfying to fans who really hate how condescending the WWE can be at times. The show opens with Matt Hardy defending his ECW World Title against Mark Henry, and sadly Henry is as sluggish and boring to watch as ever, making this a fairly painful bout. WWE No Mercy 2008 (October 5th 2008) was the 11th annual No Mercy event, hosted by the three main brands of World Wrestling Entertainment; Raw, Smackdown and ECW. WWE NO MERCY 2008 was a pay per view that featured seven matches. I will provide the matches, but not the results in case you choose to watch for yourself. ECW CHAMPIONSHIP - MATT HARDY V MARK HENRY A decent match with Hardy competing against Henry's strngth. The match was very slow when Henry was in control which meant the match did drag a little, but was still okay. WOMEN'S CHAMPIONSHIP - BETH PHOENIX V CANDICE MICHELLE Asmuch as Phoenix tried she couldn't pull off a good match against Candice who can't wrestle. The match was saved with having Santino Marella supporting Beth on the outside with his hillarious ... Read the complete review
