This is a really moving story of the top and my favourite WWE superstar 'The Heartbreak Kid' Shawn Michaels. Fans of the sport will know that Shawn grew up a keen wrestling fan and learned his trade very early. Without giving anything away, the DVD explores how he was signed to the WWE (then the WWF) and how he and Marty Jannety were put together to form the Rockers. One the thing the WWE does well is documentary type film on their wrestlers. There's a set formula too it, which is consistent in all of them and it works. The film for the Heartbreak Kid is no different and is an excellent insight into the life and career of possibly the greatest performer of all time. It starts at the beginning, his childhood before moving on to his early days as a wrestler, escalating to his memorable tag team run with Marty Janetty in the now defunct AWA, before they moved onto the WWF.
