Summerslam is traditionally one of the WWE's flagship pay per views, and perhaps everyone's heart just wasn't in it because of the suicide of Chris Benoit some brief time earlier, but this is a really weak Summerslam, and one of the worst in recent memory. It's full of short matches that mostly never get enough steam, and the main events are as a result underwhelming. The first match is a slow and fairly tiresome opener, with Kane facing Finlay. It doesn't get the momentum going or get the crowd really excited about the PPV. WWE SUMMERSLAM 2007 was the summer extravaganza from the WWE. The card contained eight matches which I will provide, but not the results to avoid dissapointment if you choose to watch for yourself. KANE V FINLAY A very physical opener with lots of hard hitting. A slow paced match, but decent opener. DIVA BATTLE ROYAL Diva's from all three brands competed to throw each other outside the ring. Pretty boring, though the women looked great. INTERCONTINETAL CHAMPIONSHIP - UMAGA V MR KENNEDY V CARLITO A fun match with three good athletes. Fast paced and lots of unique moves.
