WWE VENGEANCE 2004 was a Raw only pay per view.
The event consisted of seven matches which I will provide, but not the results incase you choose to watch for yourself.

TAJIRI AND RHYNO V GARRISON CADE AND JONATHON COACHMAN
A weird match to start the show. The Coach was a commentator not a wrestler. I felt Tajiri and Rhyno were wasted in this ordinary match.

NO 1 CONTENDER'S MATCH - VICTORIA V MOLLY HOLLY
A very good women's match with a mixture of physicality and athleticism.

BATISTA V CHRIS JERICHO
The mixture of styles just about worked in this match mainly because of Jericho. Batista's physicality can be sloppy at times, but Jericho's athleticism carried the match to a decent effort.

WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - LA RESISTANCE V RIC FLAIR AND EUGENE
This was the time when Evolution let Eugene think he was part of their group. A fun tag match with the crowd rooting for Eugene and Flair. A good match.

NO DISQUALIFICATION - MATT HARDY V KANE
Kane had stolen Hardy's girlfriend Lita so this was a very personal match up. Kane always works better in physical match ups and this once again proved to be the case in a hard hitting match. Good match.

INTERCONTINETAL CHAMPIONSHIP - RANDY ORTON V EDGE
A great match betwen two very athletic men. The pace was quick throughout and there were lots of near pinfalls. Orton is great as a heel and realy heckled the crowd. Good match.

WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP- CHRIS BENOIT V TRIPLE H
A real solid ain event that built up pace perfectly. Started with some slow mat wrestling and then edged towards some near pinfalls. Lots of submission holds and good counter wrestling with the interference in the end not affecting the standard of the match. Good main event.

Overall, this was a good event with solid rather than spectacular matches.

With a 15 viewing certificate lasting just under three hours and avaliable from AMAZON at £12.48 this is a decent event.

Summary: VENGEANCE FEATURES GOOD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES.
