... good - Carlito defends his Intercontinental Championship against Shelton Benjamin, in a fun and athletic contest that really exhibits their immense skill as performers, and as an opening contest, this really fires the audience up and gets them ready for the action that is to follow. One of the be matches on the card without a doubt. Women's matches are generally held in low regard, as the matches in which most of the audience goes for a toilet break or to grab refreshments, and this isn't really any different. Vict...more

Premium Review WWE - Vengeance 2005 (DVD): Solid PPV (338 words)

WWE VENGEANCE 2005 was once more a Raw only pay per view but took place in the middle of a draft tat was happening in the WWE. The event consisted of 6 matches which I will give, but not the results in case you choose to watch for yourself. INTERCONTINETAL CHAMPIONSHIP - CARLITO V SHELTON BENJAMIN These two young athletes provided a really good opening encounter. Lots of fast paced wrestling and aerial moves. A really good finish to the match with lots of near falls. Entertaining match. VICTORIA V CHRISTY HEMME I don't know how this match made pay per view. Wasn't terrible, but added nothing to the event. KANE V EDGE A ...  Read the complete review

Rating:

WWE Vengeance 2005 was a WWE Pay Per View that took place on June 26th 2005 in Las Vegas, and was a " Raw Brand " pay per view. The Matches ( Warning Spoilers ) WWE Intercontinental Championship Carlito ( C ) vs Shelton Benjamin. This was a solid matchup between to good workers, Carlito while not a huge fan of his work can produce solid matches, and Shelton Benjamin is and probably always will be one of the most underrated performers in the business, the match ended predictably enough with Carlito gaining the pin to retain his championship. 7/10 Victoria vs Christy Hemme As usual a thankfully short womens ...  Read the complete review
