Advantages: Good match card, lots of celebrities, title matches and extra footage not seen on TV

Disadvantages: Bad placement of matches e.g. a world title match 3rd from last

Wrestlemania 24, March 30th 2008, live from the citrus bowl in Orlando, Florida. This wrestlemania was once again a prolific night of wrestling from the WWE, and is known for being the first to take place in Florida and the second Wrestlemania to be held completely outdoors.

I have watched it 4 times now for several reasons. To see Ric Flair possibly in his last ever match, and to see if the Undertaker can increase his undefeated streak to 16-0.

The matches were top draw with a host of star studded celebrities like Snoop Dog (the master of ceremonies in the playboy bunny match), Kim Kardashian, Raven Symone and much more. This event was historic for 'the biggest superstar vs the greatest superstar', the Big Show vs Floyd 'Money' Mayweather. For all boxing fans I would recommend purchasing this event for your memorabilia.

In this DVD you receive extra footage of the ECW battle over the top rope match not shown live on pay-per-view. If there is one wrestling event you have to buy or purchase every year, it is Wrestlemania. If you especially love Ric Flair, then I cant see how you would not have to purchase this item.

"DVD EXtras"

In total the DVD has about 8-9 hours of footage, the event being 4 hours worth. The ECW Battle royal and the WWE Hall of Fame ceremonies are the other extras on the disc. A lot of people have seen the Hall of Fame 2008 Induction Ceremony on TV. However, we were only given a portion of it. This is because the speeches were too long to be show on TV. Ric Flairs and the Rocks speech were only shown in Fragments on TV. Now is the chance however to watch the entire thing. The Hall of Fame Inductees of 2008 includes Jack and Jerry Brisco, Gordon Solie, May Young, Eddie Graham, Rocky Johnson, Peter Maivia, and Ric Flair. Each superstar is introduced by other wrestlers including The Rock and Triple H.

This DVD is definitely value for money, and is one of the more outspoken Wrestlemania's in the past couple of years. I recommend this DVD to all wrestling fans.
