Advantages: This is how its supposed to be done, very strong matches and a crowd that was into it all the way

Disadvantages: a couple of low points, the Miller Catfight Girls was a waste of time

Wrestlemania XIX ( Henceforth referred to as WM19 ) was the 19th annual Wrestlemania Pay Per View event, it was held on March 30th 2003 at Safeco Field in Seattle Washington in front of 54,097 live fans.

The Matches : ( Warning SPoilers )

WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Rey Mysterio vs Matt Hardy ( C )
This is from the period, where for me Rey was one of the best in-ring performers to watch, however since then his gain of Muscle Mass and nagging injuries have made him a shadow of the wrestler he once was, but this was an impressive match that could have shaped up to be a 5 star match, had it not been booked to be too short, at less than 6 minutes it certainly left you wanting more !!
7/10

The Undertaker vs A-Train & The Big Show
'Taker' gets his entrance music played live by Limp Bizkit and its safe to say it was pretty awesome, the match itself actually turned out better than I thought it would with the predictable ending, but some solid wrestling from 3 big men
6/10

WWE Womens Championship
Trish Stratus vs Jazz vs Victoria ( C )
This actually was an entertaining match that was booked just right, with 3 of the more talented female wrestlers to come down the pipeline in the last few years, some nice spots with Trish picking up the win and the belt
6/10

WWE Tag Team Championship
Los Guerreros vs Chris Benoit and Tajiri vs Team Angle ( C )
This match had the potential to steal the show, and while im not sure it actually did, it was quite the amazing match with each man getting his chance to shine on the grandest stage of them all, solid contest with some great spots that ran about 5 minutes too short in my opinion.
8/10

Shawn Michaels vs Chris Jericho.
Not a bad match with some good strong wrestling, considering Shawn Michaels is in the ring with one of the best performers of the last 10 years I was a little surprised this didn't turn out to be a 5 star match, it did seem a little weak and soft in places, but still a great match and worth watching, great heel moment at the end by Jericho
7/10

WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Booker T vs Triple H ( C )
This really was at the peak of Triple H's trying to rule the world and not putting anyone else over, it was a damn shame really as normally you expect the see the big belt change hands at Wrestlemania, however Hunter managed to leave with his iron grip firmly around the Gold, good match with some nice moments, but disappointing finish that made Booker look weak ( i'm sure intentionally )
6/10

Vince McMahon vs "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan
This was always going to be a terrible match, and while maybe not stinking up the place, did turn out to be pretty awful, but it was never about the wrestling ability and holds and suplexes, it was about the story and the two performers told a great story.
3/10

The Rock vs "Stone Cold" Steve Austin
This will always be remembered for the 3rd and final time these men met at Wrestlemania ( Brings a tear to my eye ) and with the incredible chemistry these two men possess in the ring it was always going to be an incredible match that told a great story, and boy did it ever, the Rock played his part perfectly and Stone Cold looked great in the ring ( Considering he spent the previous night in the Emergency Room ), these two men truly create magic when they're in the ring and this is a must see for any fan ( and you should check out the Mania of Wrestlemania Documentary on the extras disc of WM20, for the great story behind this match and the great respect each of these men have for each other )
Wrestling will never get this good again and I do see this match as the last great match and feud the WWE had, and things started to go downhill slightly since this moment
9/10

WWE Championship
Brock Lesnar vs Kurt Angle ( C )
This one had the potential to steal the show...and did, albeit partly for the wrong reasons, Kurt Angle went into this match hurt rather badly and as such could have been seriously injured in this match, that alone could have created a match where each man took their foots off the gas and played it safe, that was NOT the case here at all, we were treated to a 5 star match with some amazing Wrestling and some incredible storytelling.
The main story of this match will always be Brock Lesnar's botched Shooting Star press towards the end of the match, how he didn't end up seriously injured or dead still amazes me., but if you've never seen it you need to see it to believe it.
This match is one of the best ever in my opinion
10/10
------------------------------------------------- ------------------------

Wow, this is how you do Wrestlemania Vince !! the Event was pretty much a winner from the start, even the matches that should have been terrible ( Undertaker vs A-Train / Big Show ) actually were pretty good matches, and the highlights ( and there were many ) were truly high, this may not be the best WM ever ( that accolade still goes to WM17 in my opinion ) but I would say this is in the top 5.
Essential viewing for any wrestling fan, and in fact why isn't this in your collection ????????

Summary: Probably one of the top 5 Wrestlemania's of all time !!
