Rating:

Wrestlemania XX was the 20th annual PPV Wrestlemania and took place on March 14th 2004 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, this was a huge event for the WWE as it recognised Wrestlemania hitting its 20th anniversary. The Event: ( Warning, Contains Spoilers ) WWE United States Championship The Big Show ( C ) vs John Cena Not a bad opening match considering the limitations of each man, Big Show is a monster with Limited wrestling skills and John Cena...just has limited wrestling skills, however a good story was told here with the David vs Goliath angle played out very well indeed, the match had the predicable outcome of Cena winning ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review One of the WWE's best PPVs (295 words)

Rating:

WrestleMania XX (20) is not only regarded as one of the best WrestleMania pay per views, but also one of the greatest wrestling events of all time, particularly in the WWE. It has an epic scope and a huge 4 hour running time, and featured what is arguably one of the best WrestleMania main events, which is both superbly wrestled as well as being emotionally resonant. The scale gets even bigger with only the second match, which is a Fatal ...  Read the complete review

Rating:

Wrestlemania 20 produced a great show for it's anniversary of the grand daddy of them all. The opening match for the U.S title was John Cena versus Big Show. A good opening match saw Cena pick up his first title in the WWE. The second match was Christian versus Chris Jericho. A great wretling match with a shock ending featuring Trish Stratus saw Christian pick up the win. The Rock returned to team with Mick Foley to face Evolution consisting of Batista, Ric Flair and Randy Orton in a handicap match. Randy Orton pinned Foley, but it was a great match and nice to see the Rock in action. An unbelievable crowd reaction to the match ...  Read the complete review

Rating:

Being the 20th offering of Wrestlemania, there was even more pressure on the WWE to deliver a top quality event, but luckily they passed with flying colours. Headlined by a superb triple threat match with Triple H defending his World Title against Chris Benoit and Shawn Michaels and an excellent match which saw Eddie Guerrero defend his World Title against Kurt Angle. Elsewhere, there was some other hot matches - The Undertaker returned under the dead man gimmick to destroy Kane, a super over John Cena defeated The Big Show for the US title in the opening match, Christian and Trish Stratus conspired to take down Chris Jericho in a hot angle, The Rock returned for ...  Read the complete review
