Advantages: BURIED ALIVE MATCH
Disadvantages: TOO MUCH FILLER
WWF IN YOUR HOUSE 11: BURIED ALIVEwas an annual pay per view event from the WWF.
The event contained six matches, which I will provide, but not the results in case you choose to watch for yourself.
THE STALKER V JUSTIN BRADSHAW
This was a poor match to start the show as it lacked any heat. The wrestling was sloppy and never really got going.
STONE COLD V TRIPLE H
Strange to see this match at the start of a show although they were both upcoming superstars at the time. Great match which featured lots of hard hitting. Went in and outside the ring and both men had good chemistry.
WWF TAG CHAMPIONSHIP - OWEN HART AND BRITISH BULLDOG V THE SMOKING GUNNS
A good tag match with some solid tag wrestling. The crowd enjoyed this match and were behind Hart and Bulldog. Started slow, but when the pace picked up it was excellent.
INTERCONTINETAL CHAMPIONSHIP - MARK MERCO V GOLDUST
This was a last minute match as Goldust was standing in for Farooq. Consequently, the match was nothing special and felt rushed.
PSYCHO SID V VADER
I didn't enjoy this match as it was far too slow and relied mainly on physicality. Even the suprise ending didn't do anything for me.
BURIED ALIVE MATCH - THE UNDERTAKER V MANKIND
This was the first ever buried alive match where the winner has to dump their opponent in a grave and then bury them. Thisw as a real physical match with many weapons used. The chemistry between these two is always excellent. A hot crowd loved this and even when the interference at the end it was a good match.
Overall, this was a average event with all the attention being focused on the main event. Austin V Triple H was enjoyable as was the tag match, but everything else was filler.
Avaliable on VHS from AMAZON at £2.50, lasting just under three hours this is an ordinary event.
