... though, is Mark Henry facing Viscera to defend the honour of Mae Young; a terrible build-up allows a terrible match, but it's thankfully quite short at least... One of the best matches sees Edge and Christian take on The Hardy Boyz; it's a great tag fight and although Terri Runnells perhaps gets too involved, it's still very entertaining. Almost hard to describe as a match, Tazz fights The Big Boss Man for less than a minute before a stupid judgemental call is made; totally worthless. Better is a No Holds Barred...more

Premium Review WWF - No Way Out 2000 (VHS): Spotty but satisfying PPV (360 words)
by - written on 05/11/09 (Very useful, 3 readings)
Rating:

No Way Out 2000 is a fairly memorable pay per view thanks to its stellar main event, and although the undercard is a bit spotty, it's a decent event for sure. In a solid opener, Kurt Angle challenges Chris Jericho for his WWF Intercontinental Championship; an athletic and technical bout that's a great way to start things. Less intriguing is The Dudley Boyz challenging The New Age Outlaws for the WWF Tag Team Championship; it's a messy and overly short match that never gets going and has a botch which results in Gunn getting injured. Even worse, though, is Mark Henry facing Viscera to defend the honour of Mae Young; a terrible build-up ...  Read the complete review

Rating:

WWF NO WAY OUT 2000 was a pay per view that got better as the event went on. I will give the matches and not the results in case you choose to watch. INTERCONTINETAL CHAMPIONSHIP - CHRIS JERICHO V KURT ANGLE A wrestling match for the purist. Great technical wrestling mixed in with a few aerial moves and submission all wrestled at a fast pace. Excellent match. WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - THE DUDLEY BOYS V DX A boring match that didn't go long. Expected better from these teams. RIKISHI AND TOO COOL V THE RADICALS A average six man tag match with the crowd really dead for thisone. Some decent wrestling, but mostly ...  Read the complete review

Rating:

WWF NO WAY OUT 2000 Match Card Chris Jericho vs Kurt Angle for the IC Title Some excellent wrestling seen by both men in the match. Angle got the win and became the new IC champ. The Dudleys vs DX for the tag team titles Short 5 minute match up nothing special just a average tag team match up. Mark Henry vs Viscera Probably one of the worst ever matches in wrestling PPV. It lasted 4 mins long with Henry getting the win with a scoop slam. Edge and Christian vs the Hardys One of the best matches of the night with both teams taking the battle too each other. It was a good match with a lot of good high flying ...  Read the complete review
