Advantages: HELD A T WEMBLEY STADIUM
Disadvantages: TAG MATCHES
SUMMERSLAM 1992 was held at Wembley Stadium, London, the first time a WWF pay per view had been held abroad.
I will provide the matches, but not the results in case you choose to watch.
WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP - NATURAL DISASTERS V THE BEVERLEY BROTHERS
A steady match with solid tag team wrestling. Quite slow, but nothing too bad.
MONEY INC V LEGION OF DOOM
Another tag team contest which was slightly better. A faster pace and some good tag team wrestling. Solid match.
UNDERTAKER V KAMALA
Not the greatest wrestling match since it was featuring two big guys. However the physicality was good making this a fun match.
SHAWN MICHAELS V RICK MARTEL
In this match these two cocky superstars were fighting over the affections of Sensational Sherri. This slightly hindered the match as they kept looking or moving to Sherri breaking up the match which was very fast paced. Still a good match.
INTERCONTINETAL CHAMPIONSHIP - BRITISH BULLDOG V BRET HART
This was the match the crowd came to see as it featured the Bulldog coming home to England. Boxing legend Lennox Lewis entered with the British Bulldog. Match of the night. Great mat wrestling which built slow and then went fast paced. Fantastic counter wrestling and the crowd was electric. A really good match.
WWF CHAMPIONSHIP - RANDY SAVAGE V THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR
This match was decent with some good chemistry shown by both competitors. After a slow start the match gained pace with lots of near falls. There was major interference in this match. Good match.
Overall, this was a unique pay per view coming form London. The matches were good and a great crowd helped the event.
Avaliable on VHS from AMAZON at only £1.99 and lasting just under tree hours this is a good event.
Summary: SUMMERSLAM FROM WEMBLEY.
