WWF Summerslam 1994 is a very memorable wrestling event, largely because of its marketing of the Undertaker vs Undertaker bout, with Leslie Nielsen portraying his Frank Drebben character from the Naked Gun as he investigates the "crime" of the second Taker. The show starts with Irwin R. Schyster and Bam Bam Bigelow facing The Headshrinkers, although it's too short to really get going, and I was unconvinced that the Headshrinkers really worked as faces at this point. SUMMERSLAM 1994 was the annual WWF summer extravaganza. I will provide the matches, but not the results in case you choose to watch for yourself. BAM BAM BIGELOW AND IRS V THE HEADSHRINKERS A fun tag team match with lots of good tag wrestling. Started slow, but got better. Summerslam 1994 was headlined by arguably one of the worst main events in pay-per-view history as The Undertaker returned to defeat an impostor who had spent the previous few months impersonating the dead man, under the instruction of the Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase. The Fake Undertaker was played by Brian Lee, who later resurfaced in WWF as Chainz. Despite the poor main event, there was some good stuff on 94's card. Bret and Owen Hart had a great match in a steel cage for the World Title, and Razor Ramon successfully defeated Diesel to regain the Intercontinental Title. The Headshrinkers also had a fun battle with Bam Bam Bigelow and IRS. Bull Nakano took ... Read the complete review
