BIG SHOW V BIG BOSS MAN, ALBERT, MIDEON AND VISCERA A horrible handicap match featuring lots of big men who can't wrestle. Horrible. INTERCONTINETAL CHAMPIONSHIP - CHRIS JERICHO V CHYNA Chyna can really mix it when wrestling against men. A really good match with some excellent wrestling and lots of near falls. The crowd were rooting for Chyna. THE HOLLYS AND TOO C...more

Survivor Series was one of the very first Pay-Per-Views ever released. Along with Royal Rumble, Summerslam, a little later King Of The Ring, and of course, the granddaddy of 'em all, Wrestlemania, WWF had 5 Pay-Per-Views a year, excluding one off English events such as UK Rampage. After it's debut in 1987, Survivor Series quickly became a favourite amongst wrestling fans. It's concept was completely different to any other PPV and that appealed to many fans. Traditionally held every year on the American holiday of Thanksgiving (that went out in 1994), the concept was that in each match 4 wrestlers would go against each other in a tag team match of ...  Read the complete review

Just one of the many ppv of the wwf calander, Survivor Series. Some of the WWFs great moments have happened at this event. The Undertaker made his debut; Bret Hart Lost his last match in the wwf when vince mcmahon screwed him out of the wwf and the rock won his first ever wwf title. Although not as good as the royal rumble or Wrestlemania, Survivor series has made its mark in the WWF as one of the best ppv's in the year. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review WWF - Survivor Series 2000 (DVD): Worst WWF PPV of the year (118 words)

Personally, this in my opinion is the worst WWF PPV in a while both before and since it origanally took place. From Shawn Stasiak even wrestling on a PPV to the Big Slow winning the WWF title the whole event sucks. No-one seems to rise to the occasion, not the Rock, Mick Foley, the Hardy Boys, no-one. They must have been on the beer the night before to put in the performances they did. And to finish the event off - guess what? Someone gets screwed at the Survivor Series out of the title. Not too preditable! Please, don't waste money on this tape. The greatest hits of Hulk Hogan probably tops this vid. ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A very bad event (400 words)

Rating:

Oh my god this was bad, Survivor Series 99 was one of the worst WWF events ever. The card is almost totally devoid of anything touching a good match. The worst thing about it was the fact Stone Cold Steve Austin was suppost to be in the main event but injured himself 10 days before Survivor Series, the WWF knew he couldn't compete but didn't bother to tell the fans until the night of the event when the fans had already paid their hard earned cash to watch Stone Cold- not The Big Show. Here is a summary of all the matches. I'd give more detail but i don't want to spoiler it for you. The Acolytes and The dudleys VS D-Lo, ...  Read the complete review

WWF - Survivor Series 2000 (DVD): Survival of the fittest! (183 words)

Survivor Series is an annual event hosted by the WWF that has kind of lot its way over the years. At the start it was teams of 4 against teams of 4 in an elimination rules contest where if an individual was pinned he would be sent back to the dressing room, with the possible scenario of 4 on 1 always at the back of the viewers mind. At present it is just a regular 1 vs. 1 filled pay-per-view that doesn't often use the traditional Survivor-rules matches. Some of the WWFs greatest moments occured at the Survivor Series: The Undertaker made his debut; a year later at the next Survivor Series he beat Hulk Hogan for the WWF Title - something that would put in to ...  Read the complete review
