Wrestlemania 18 was once again the main attraction of the WWE pay per view year. ROB VAN DAM V WILLIAM REGAL - This intercontenintal championship match kicked things off and was a good match with Van Dam winning. DDP V CHRISTIAN - A match filler for the European title with DDP getting the win. MAVEN V GOLDUST - This match was a squash that Maven won for the hardcore title. Despite not being the final match on the card, the Main Event was in no doubt - The Rock vs Hollywood Hulk Hogan was truly a match for the ages and while the action was only slightly above average, the crowd heat made it one of the most memorable matches in history. Hulk Hogan worked the crowd to perfect, eliciting roars of approval despite going into the match as the heel. Undisputed Champion Chris Jericho vs Triple H could never hope to follow, firstly because everybody knew who would win, and secondly because neither had the ability to do so.
