I have just written a similar review to this one in the x-files category, but I wanted to place it in this section as well as it really is the best of the x-files specially released videos. I have just bought and watched the very last episode of the on going x-files saga. All I can say is wow, what a brilliant end to a brilliant series. The video contains three full-length episodes; William, The Truth, and The Truth II. This is the first video that was released in a long line of special release X-File videos. Although the first, it includes the first mythological arc of the show. The video contains the series 2 cliffhanger and the two concluding episodes of series 3. In these episodes, Mulder travels to the desert where he hopes to find evidence of extra-terrestrial life. I'm not giving the plot away for anyone who hasn't seen the episodes, but sufficed to say, the further into the video you go, the more difficult it is to tell the good guys from the bad. What better way to salvage the series than to bring the dynamic duo to the big screen with a promise of "All things will be answered". Well, they are answered, but only with more questions. I suppose it's their own fault that the x-files is a series of TV shows rather than an epic sci-fi movie as you could summarise the plot of this movie and the previous episodes that it stemmed from into the space of 3 hours and have one hell of a cool movie. Alas, we find Mulder and Scully on the trail of an FBI conspiracy leads them deeper into a world of the Extra Terrestrial.
