This film logically follows the trilogy of X men movies with a prequel - depicting the creation a the mutant Wolverine (Logan). With the origin of Wolverine comes a host of other, new mutant characters and, of course, some familiar ones.
The most prominant 'newcomer' comes in the form of a mutant called Sabertooth who is really the main focus of the film. At the start Sabertooth and Wolverine are companions split apart by a series of moral and ethical decisions Sabertooth comes back on a killing spree - looking to kill Wolverine as well. Natrually, this is the main story and follows how the showdown between the two powerful mutuants turns out.

The storyline is no where near the level of the first 3 and in my opinion was simply released to make some easy money of the back of the X men sucess.
Hugh Jackson is the movies main asset - his brillaint acting and excellent screen presesnce makes the movie very good. Couple this with the fact the special effects are amazing this movie is a good film to watch.

However, it is only entertaining, nothing more and is defintaly not a must - see. Rather a movie to watch if you have little else to do.
