Advantages: good story and action

Disadvantages: final villain

I found this movie enjoyable and Hugh Jackman puts in a good performance as the title character Wolverine. The back story of him and his brother are well shot especially the war flashback scenes - overall the special effects are very well done and not over the top.

The film focuses on their brotherly relationship somewhat and how they are recruited by a military team headed by Stryker who utilises mutant powers for military purposes and has a small back story regarding his family member driving him.

The team eventually disband and go their own ways - each member is then hunted down mysteriously.

Wolverine falls in love and his lover is killed and he spends the time finding the killers.

There are some other characters involved along the way although they are not featured heavily and the final villiainous showdown character seemed a little too robotic and not in keeping with the themes of the rest of the movie.

Overall a very enjoyable watch - recommended.
