Great film for X Men fans (X-Men Origins: Wolverine (DVD))

I loved all the X Men films so wanted to see this film too. I ordered it from Lovefilm and watched it over the weekend and thought it was brilliant. I will be buying the dvd for my collection.

The story was good, it started off telling about how Logan and his brother grew up together and showed that he had normal claws which came out of his hands back in those days. They fought together in many wars and then were recruited by Colonel Stryker as commandos along with some other mutants. Lodan left as he didnt agree with how they were working and moved away and fell in love with a school teacher who was later killed. He set out to revenge the killing. Then it went on to tell how he came to have the metal claws that we were used to seeing in the X Men films, and how the mutants came to go with Professor Xavier.

The story line was interesting and had some twists to it. The special effects were really good.

Hugh jackman was great as Wolverine. I liked the way he could act tough as Wolverine but had a soft side to him as well as with the woman Kayla (played by Lynn Collins) or with the elderly man and lady who found him and helped him.

Liev Schrieber played his brother Victor Creed and was very menacing. He played the roll really well.

I was pleased to see Patrick Stewart had a small part in the film too as he is one of my favourite actors.

The film is directed by Gavin Hood and it has been rated a 12a in the Uk.

The film is well worth watching if you are a fan on X men or Hugh Jackman or even just like the marvel comics and those kinds of films.
