Finally got to see this movie, which also took a very long time for some strange reason, as it is a good film.

But going to the heart of the review, the best thing about the film is the main protagonist of the film, played by, Vin Diesel, who I've always liked, even in some of what some may consider his bad movies.

This is simply an action movie, and one that is fast paced, high class, while the stunning special effects do take centre stage in this film, absolutely outstanding.

In addition to his, if I remember correctly, I think some place I have heard or read that Vin Diesel began as an actor in film dubbing in stunts, and therefore does all of his own stunts, giving the film more reality, therefore making him a good choice for the main character.
On the other hand you have also to understand that as a action film, you will have to look for underlying plot of the film with its deeper meaning, and XXX is no exception, this is going to bad and good fighting ill and more ill, ending with an exciting conclusion normally involving a spectacular girl.

In short, this is a film that will give you a great character, played by a brilliant actor, with amazing special effects, involving a great plot. You can miss anything in this film and is a definite must see.
