Yes man follows the story of an LA bank employee, Carl Allen (Jim Carrey), who constantly declines anything that would involve him being sociable with any other human beings, even making him miss his best friends batchelor party. He then bumps into an old friend who persuades him that he goes along to this Yes! self-help seminar. After this Carl starts saying Yes! to every offer that comes his way, which leads to improvements at work, and being able to meet someone ( Zooey Deschanel) in his love life. Books have been adapted for the cinema ever since film existed. Both fiction and non-fiction have made the leap; often being hard to determine which is which.
