Advantages: Typical Jim Carry funny faces, etc!

Disadvantages: Seen it before feeling

If you are a Jim Carry fan then you will no doubt love Yes Man, it's full of all of his usual antics - the funny faces, the funny pronunciation of his words. If you're not too fussed about Jim Carry you might not be so drawn in by it. It is predictable and you do feel like you've seen it before, in fact it surprises me that they would choose Jim Carry for the plot that is so similar to Liar Liar, pretty much just the opposite (minus the family drama) - where in Liar Liar Carry was never allowed to tell a lie, in Yes Man he is never allowed to say no, meaning he always has to say yes so he is in a sense forced to lie - by having Jim Carry as the leading man it does remind you of Liar Liar, and hence that seen it before feeling kicks in.

To be honest though, I quite like Jim Carry, I grew up with Ace Venturer Pet Detective and although it does get a bit repetitive once in a while I think he's good for a giggle. So I'd say it's still worth watching, if you like that sort of thing.
