Advantages: Laughs throughout

Disadvantages: Too Short

Carl Allen (Jim Carrey) is average man working at a bank who has no interests in saying yes to his friends or life. That all changes when he bumps into his old friend Nick (John Michael Higgins) who convinces him to sign up to a program which makes you say yes to anything ran by Terrance Stamp, at first Carl says no but after he misses his best friend Peter (Bradley Cooper) engagement party he quickly changes his mind.

As Carl keeps saying yes to everything he soon realises how good life can be, he eventually bumps into Alison (Zooey Deschanel) a free spirited women who loves being different.

As carl keeps on saying yes to things new promotions happen to him at work, he befriends new and different people, visits places that he would of never visited before he started saying yes to life, carl and Alison also start to fall for each other.

Yes Man is a light hearted film for all the family with a few cringe worthy moments that include his erderly neighbour. Jim Carrey is once again on top form and provides laughs throughout the film. The film provides high morales and forces the message if yoy just say yes to things your life would be better.

Summary: Provides a good message but is predictable

Considering that this film is based on the brilliant book by Danny Wallace, it bears a very loose resemblance to it and is worse of for it I reckon

Great review ... but i recommend the book as it is very different and far superior to the film. Plus the book was based on real events that happened here in the UK !!!
