Why, then, have I given the film 5 stars? The answer is that there is an exceptionally well-observed experience of the black comedy in everyday life from Andersson, as well as sudden and unexpected occasional trips into the absurd (the old man walking his dead dog on the front cover being one example), which hark back to much of what the Monty Python team built their careers on.
