 ... has been passed which states that no-one is allowed to have a baby for 30 years. Instead, couples are provided with an alternative - walking, talking dolls, which look horrible! Reed and Chaplin are unhappy with this state of affairs and decide to have a baby. I won't ruin the storyline by telling you what the result of this is, but let it be said that it involves some very bizarre plot twists. When talking to my friends I have found that very few of them have ever heard if this film, even those who are particular science fiction buffs. The film is also known by the title ZERO POPULATION GROWTH, which, surprise surprise, is what 'Z.P.G.' stands for. The film stars Oliver Reed and Geraldine Chaplin as a couple who are unhappy with the laws which govern the world where they live - 21st Century Earth.
