Zombi Holocaust takes place in New York City and starts off with a guy stepping into a room where corpses are kept at a local hospital and crudely removing a piece of the corpse for himself and then leaving. This is noticed the next day when the body is to be used in a class for some medical students. After the doctor/professor uncovers the body in front of the students they all notice a piece of the body is missing, the professor tries to play it off acting as though he isn't surprised the corpse is missing a piece. 'Zombie Holocaust' is nothing if not prolific. Believe me, if you're a horror fan, then the chances are good that you've seen this film under one of its' eight or nine titles. If you're a devote of the zombie sub-genre, then I'd be surprised if you haven't seen it, probably under its' more famous moniker, 'Doctor Butcher, M.D.'. All things considered, it can't come as much of a shock to learn that 'M.D.' in fact stands for 'Medical deviant'. To be honest, this tells you just about everything you need to know about this film.
